Performance parameters:
1-Just embed the fresh tissue with gel, fix it in the solvent tank, and then slice it; Slice thickness ranges from 10um to 1000um, and even up to a few millimeters. From sampling to final sectioning, microscopy imaging takes about 20 minutes for skilled personnel;
2-A fixed lateral cutting force of the blade allows for reciprocating lateral cutting, which can cut fine and fresh tissues without causing wrinkling;
3-The vibration amplitude, forward angle, and forward speed of the blade can be linearly adjusted to ensure flexibility in handling different specimens;
4-Cutting with high-frequency vibrating blades reduces mechanical pressure on tissues and avoids the fragmentation of fragile tissues (such as brain, embryo, and plant samples) during the slicing process;
5-Slicing is performed in a liquid tank, lubricating the blade to prevent it from heating up, and allowing the cut sample to float and be stored on the liquid surface;
6-The slice thickness is controlled by a precision lifting component and operated by a rotating device. Skilled operators can control the thickness in the micrometer range;
7-Due to the non freezing nature of the tissue, the absence of ice crystal formation, and the absence of tissue antigen damage, the steps of tissue dehydration, transparency, and encapsulation are avoided before staining, which can effectively preserve lipid soluble substances and cell membrane antigens within the tissue;
8-The slicing process is carried out in liquid (such as PBS) to avoid drying damage and facilitate direct collection of slices for subsequent experiments (such as culture and electrophysiological recording).
